Signs of Success

Sustainability, Technology, Innovation, Partnership and Dialogue: those are the values that Monsanto Vegetable Seeds offers its partners in the industry. Linked to these signs of success are top class varieties, sustainability solutions and collaboration opportunities. Carl Rentes, Monsanto's Consumer Trait Director for vegetables in Europe -Middle East- Africa, explains: "bellaverde® Sweet Stem Broccoli is a perfect example of what partnership can mean for us; it's the sign of success for this product. Together with our partners in the UK we have developed the most suitable production and introduction strategy for bellaverde® Sweet Stem Broccoli and have co-developed the brand and communication campaign. This summer bellaverde® Sweet Stem Broccoli will hit the shelves in mainland Europe."

Carl Rentes also points out that bellaverde® Sweet Stem Broccoli is just one of the products at show: "We invite everyone to stop by at our stand D-06 in Hall 1.2 to see the Signs of Success for our seven key crops, ranging from tomato to onion and lettuce. In tomato we will have our latest innovations on display, like Ventero for the Southern European area. Ventero is a highly resistant variety with outstanding fruit quality: a deep red color and good taste. You can also taste our products as our chef de cuisine will serve a selection of dishes on a daily basis."
