Announcing the De Ruiter Tomato Experience Centre 2.0, Netherlands

Last September, De Ruiter officially said goodbye to the Tomato Experience Centre in 's-Gravenzande (The Netherlands), the demo glasshouse where we hosted open days and invited many tomato industry professionals. However that is good news because De Ruiter is moving to a brand new, state-of-the-art demo glasshouse with a new name: The De Ruiter Experience Center. This centre is scheduled to open in February of 2018.

Demo Greenhouse with Artificial Lights

Our range of tomato varieties for the lit crop is unprecedented and in line with the increase in lit glasshouses. De Ruiter has built this new demo glasshouse, so that growers, consultants and other professionals in the industry can see the performance of our varieties and industry standards under artificial lights.

The new demo glass house was built in collaboration with our partner Brabander-Zantman V.O.F. The brand new greenhouse covers 8,000 square meters, of which 3,200 square meters has artificial lights. Adjoining the greenhouse is a modern meeting centre  with  comprehensive facilities.
